San Antonio Attorneys

Getting Involved. Giving Back.

At Thornton, Biechlin, Segrato, Reynolds & Guerra we recognize the importance of giving back and supporting our communities, through both firm-wide initiatives and the individual efforts of our attorneys and staff. In addition to our involvement with Habitat for Humanity and the San Antonio Bar Association's Community Justice Program, our attorneys and staff serve in numerous roles as community leaders, board members, volunteer coordinators, and supporters of a number of different philanthropic efforts throughout the state.

Community Justice Program

Community Justice Program

Since its inaugural event in 2006, the firm has participated annually at the San Antonio Bar Association's Community Justice Program at the Wesley Community Center in San Antonio. A team of over 20 attorneys and staff provide pro bono legal advice at the event, generally assisting with divorce and probate matters. Traveling to the neighborhood where the clients live allows our lawyers and staff to bring legal services to many people who would not otherwise have access to counsel or the courts. The program is fulfilling on a number of levels, and we are proud to be a part of it.

Family Services Association Adopt-A-Family Program

For the past three years, the firm has supported the less fortunate through the Adopt-A-Family Program facilitated by the Family Services Association. The firm designates one day a week as "jean day," wherein attorneys and staff are allowed to wear jeans to work, for a fee. In December, the firm uses the money collected from jean day and adopts several families, providing them with food, gifts, and household items, making their holidays a little more special.
